Recorded live at The Blue Whale in Los Angeles in April of 2013, this two-song offering serves as a document of the first and only time these four musicians ever played together.

These recordings also serve as a mark in time when the creative music scene in Los Angeles was beginning to take on a new shape. This was due in no small part to the existence of The Blue Whale. The jazz and improvised music world mourns the loss of this great venue, which played an indispensable role in shaping the lives and careers of so many. Thank you, Blue Whale.
